In a short period of time she managed to come up with good results. She also provided useful contacts. I consider her as a key person in my field of expertise, public procurement of innovation.

Politicians and civil servants of Dutch municipalities will be able to inform themselves about European knowledgde networks and the way in which they can use these networks for their municipal policy. Arianne was responsible for this work. The publication Arianne wrote is very well structured and to the point. Arianne did an excellent job in researching the information, interviewing relevant persons, writing the publication and giving a presentation to our politicians. We are very grateful for her work!

Private gardening services can be considered as labour intensive. Despite of this definition, these services are not included in the European VAT-Directive that offers the possibility to introduce a permanent lower VAT-rate. Branchevereniging VHG wants to start up a European lobby to reach this goal after establishing a temporary reduced VAT-rate in Holland. The European Commission is at this particular moment in the process of evaluating the current system. For European lobby this is the time to act, but in order to be effective VHG needs to know what the actual situation is, who is dealing with this subject and what possibilities there are to promote a permanent reduced VAT-rate for private gardening services. Arianne van der Meer has made a situation report to have a good overview of the actual status of the VAT-dossier. She understands the process of lobby, knows the European structures, is thorough in her research and able to report in a structured and comprehensible way. It is a pleasure to work with her.

Arianne played a key role in finding money and the negotiations with the city of The Hague. Since she knows how government organisations communicate and work, she could create a good understanding between the artistic project and the financing and participating parties.

With the knowledge Arianne acquired by coordinating and describing the possibilities of the Sector Plans for the labour market region Holland-Rijnland, she advised the "Actieteam crisisbestrijding" in general about the connection between the Sector Plans and the labour market regions. As supporter of the Actieteam, I was positively surprised by her punctuality and organisational skills. It was a successful and pleasant cooperation. (Translated from Dutch)

For the VNG Direction Europe, Arianne wrote a report about municipalities and European networks. The project contained among others writing a project plan and the structure of the report, meetings with internal and external parties and writing the report. Arianne executed this task very thoroughly and independently. She knows how to transform a first draft into a concrete project plan. Here analytical skills and proactive attitude resulted in a clear and well-structured report. Top qualities: great results, personable, on time. (Translated from Dutch)
